The Health and Care Bill 2022 created Integrated Care Boards (ICB) as replacements for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG). An ICB is a statutory body which brings together NHS organisations and partners to improve population health and establish shared priorities within the local NHS. |
This is a website for local Clinical Policy and Decisions for Derby & Derbyshire ICB.
The Clinical Policy Advisory Group is a Derbyshire-wide strategic, local decision making group, whose main remit is to promote safe, rational and cost-effective clinical policies.
Our collective aim is through evidence based reviews, to ensure that our health resources are used in the most cost-effective way, and get the best value for money in delivering improvement in health outcomes for the whole population of Derbyshire.
